Qualifications and Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders, CFs are welcome!
- Active & valid California state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA CCC or in the process of obtaining CCC (CF).
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Leadership and teamwork qualities
- Strong Diagnostic skills
- AAC, early intervention and preschool experience a plus
- Must pass background check
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and evaluations
- Supervisory experience and educational responsibilities preferred.
- Communicate with physicians and other health care providers to confirm plans of care
- Advise family members and other supportive individuals about the level of care the patient needs as necessary
- Provide speech therapy guidance, support and education during patient sessions
- Guide patients through graded activities
- Generate reports for patients and their physicians and families
