Our Mission

Northern Therapy Group strives to provide the highest quality of services and make positive impacts in the lives of individuals with disabilities. Our focus is on Speech Language Pathology, Augmentative Alternative Communication, Educational Psychology, Behavioral Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Special Education Advocacy. We believe those services play a significant role in improving the quality of life for people with disabilities and those who love them.

Biography
Haleh is a Nationally and State of California licensed, credentialed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist. Prior to starting her private practice, Haleh worked with children and adults in varied settings including early intervention centers, speech-language clinics, pre-K through 12th grade school-based settings, acute care and long-term rehabilitation centers. Haleh has extensive experience assessing and treating children and young adults on the Autism Spectrum Disorders with a heavy focus on Augmentative Alternative Communication systems. Haleh strongly believes in a team approach to therapy and therefore encourages collaboration with parents/caregivers, teachers, medical professionals, and other therapists to provide the most encouraging and successful environment for her clients.

  • Consulting with speech-language pathologists and teachers on how to set up their therapy/classroom to maximize student success.
  • Consulting and professional trainings on how to program, implement and use low to high-tech AAC devices.
  • Consulting and trainings for effective teaching of pragmatic functions of language for ages 0-5 years of age. 
  • Consulting and trainings for understanding and meeting developmental milestones.

Beyond Work
In her spare time, Haleh enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time with her family and friends, reading, and being creative.
